Cloud sweater

Ever since I was a kid, I always liked clouds. I associate them with dreams, creativity and daydreaming. You could say I always had my “head in the clouds” when I was little. Since I find knitting as a way to express my creativity, I decided to design a cloud pattern I could incorporate in a sweater.

I used a free pattern from Yarnspirations. It is a basic and easy sweater pattern. For the cloud pattern, I used Stitch Fiddle to create a chart pattern. You can use any color blocking method to create the pattern, I personally decided to use the intarsia method so the sweater would be less thick and perfect to use on warmer weathers. If you don’t know how to knit with the intarsia method, check out our intarsia method tutorial to learn the basics of this awesome technique. Use these charts as guidelines to insert your clouds in the pattern, but feel free to insert them wherever you want.
